The SUSE Survey on SDS and Employment
SUSE run an employability project called ‘Access to Employment’ which gives people an individual budget that they can use to support them with their employment goals.
As part of this project, they would like to understand the barriers that people may face if they have an individual budget and want to get a paid job, undertake training or volunteer.
Their findings will add to any recommendations that they make to the Scottish Government about how to increase the opportunities to people in receipt of individual budgets under SDS.
The Survey is for organisations to complete and has 3 parts. They ask about:
- The people you support
- Your Organisation
- Your experience with decision-makers around SDS such as Local Authorities
The Survey is in paper form and will be sent out by SDSS to all of our member organisations.
Please look out for the Survey and complete this if you can. There will be a pre-paid envelope to return completed surveys to SUSE.
The Survey is open until Friday 19th January.
