Corra Foundation Coronavirus Grants
ShiftThePower Coronavirus Response Fund has reopened and will operate on a rolling basis closing once all funds have been allocated.
The #ShiftThePower Coronavirus Response Fund will help grassroots organisations in Scotland to support vulnerable individuals, families, and communities, including responding to the impact of Coronavirus.
The fund will provide grants of up to £10,000 and is open to charities and voluntary organisations with an income of less than £250,000.
The work to be supported will fit one of the following four strategic themes:
- Children Survive & Thrive – early years development for children facing disadvantage.
- Gender Justice – contributing to gender equality by reducing violence and discrimination based
on gender and sexuality. - A Safe Place to Be – supporting people who have experienced homelessness or have been
forced from their homes to live safely. - Mental Health Matters – improving mental health provision and tackling stigma around mental
health.
How much can you apply for?
£1,000 up to a maximum of £10,000.
What can you use the money for?
Every organisation has different needs and ideas, particularly in response to Coronavirus. This fund will support projects that are community and people led – you can include project and core costs. You can also include costs associated with adapting your working practise to Coronavirus guidelines such as professional cleaning services and buying PPE equipment.
