SDS National Voice 2021: The quality approach
You can now secure your place for our 2021 SDS National Voice conference, with special ‘early bird’ tickets available.
We’re delighted to confirm that our annual National Voice conference will be taking place on Wednesday 17 March 2021.
This year, following COVID-19 advice and guidance, the event will take place online, however you’ll still have the opportunity to attend workshops and network thanks to our selected platform.
SDS National Voice 2021: The quality approach, will focus on quality and closing the implementation gap between SDS policy and practice, giving you the chance to explore current projects and hear directly from key players in Scottish social care including user-led organisations and people with lived experience.

What to expect:
- Main stage presentations with opportunity to ask questions about the Independent Review of Adult Social Care, Social Work Scotland’s Standards for SDS and the My Support, My Choice national research.
- Scottish Government representation.
- Workshops with a focus on local SDS Strategies, brokerage, SDS Legislation and Guidance, peer support and advocacy, Community Led Support, Mental Health, positive alternatives to out of area support, the Independent Living Fund plus more!
- Special announcements.

There’s a range of tickets on sale now with some discounted ‘early bird’ tickets for both SDSS Members and Non-members. We know that things are different now we’re living in a pandemic and costs may present barriers for some organisations and individuals, but we hope the new pricing is fair.
