Workshop: Everything you wanted to know about SDS but were afraid to ask

This online workshop will explore what Self-directed Support is, who it is for, what it intends to achieve and what people can expect when they apply for support from their Local Authority. The session will look at the journey people take to accessing support, what rights and choices they have along the way and what the legislation and statutory guidance say about what they can expect. Specific issues that people might face will be explored further and where people can go for additional support will be highlighted.

The workshop is open to anyone with an interest in SDS, with discounted tickets available for SDS Scotland Members.
