Face Covering Exemption Card launched
Self Directed Support Scotland is pleased to share that the Scottish Government’s recently announced Face Covering Exemption Card has been launched today, 29 October 2020.
We know that many people, even though they are exempt from wearing a mask in public, feel anxious or stressed when in public places due to being questioned or judged about not wearing a face covering. That’s why we support this initiative which supports those who are unable to wear a mask to feel more confident and safer when accessing public spaces and using public services.
People exempt from wearing face coverings can now request a physical card to wear on a lanyard or hold in a wallet, or a digital card to be displayed on a smart device: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/exempt/
