Human Rights Principles in Digital Health and Social Care

The ALLIANCEScottish Care and VOX (Voices Of eXperience) are working together to support the development of rights based digital health and social care policy and practice across Scotland. They are exploring six principles for a human rights based approach to digital health and social care. Throughout this work, they want to engage with people who access services and people who provide support, to refine the principles and collectively develop practice-based scenarios that illustrate their application in health and social care.

After hosting a series of online engagement events, the team have now launched an online survey (closing on 5 August) and an information and engagement pack. The ALLIANCE, Scottish Care and VOX want to ensure participation from people who may not be able to attend the workshops online and encourage a wide range of views. If you would be able support an offline conversation or engagement session, please have a look at the information pack.

To find out more or to discuss any of the above, contact DHCscot@alliance-scotland.org.uk and the team will be able to work with you to ensure that your views and those of the people you support are represented in this work.
